Crater Lake National Park, Oregon
Crater Lake is almost 2000′ deep. It is the result of Mount Mazama erupting around 5677 BC. The volcano’s collapsed caldera now holds Crater Lake When it last erupted, the eruption was 42 times greater than the eruption of Mount St. Helens in 1980. It is an awesome place that is both pristine and untouched. You must go and take it all in.

This is really amazing. It is perfecty oriented. Reminds me of Charlton Heston finding the Statue of Liberty in Planet of the Apes. “Damn you to hell!”
